Frame straightening is the process of returning a vehicle's structure to factory dimensions after a collision. Most modern cars are unibody, meaning the body shell itself is the structure, and it has specific measuring points that must sit within millimeters of spec. We anchor the car, measure it, and use controlled hydraulic pulls to bring bent sections back into alignment. Panels, suspension, and paint all come after the structure is right, never before.
Everything on the car depends on a straight structure. A bent frame causes doors that don't close right, tires that wear unevenly, a car that pulls or crabs down the road, and airbags and crumple zones that may not behave correctly in a second accident. Frame work should be checked after any significant impact: a highway-speed hit, damage at a corner of the car, or any collision where the airbags deployed.
