Depending on the dent, we can massage the metal back out without touching the paint, or do conventional bodywork and refinish the panel. We look at the damage first and quote you the least expensive fix that will actually make it disappear.
Dent removal takes two main forms. Paintless dent repair works dents out from behind the panel with special tools, keeping your factory paint intact. It's the best option for smaller dents where the paint isn't cracked. Larger or creased dents need conventional repair: working the metal back to shape, applying a skim of filler, then priming and repainting the panel to match. We assess each dent and pick the method that gives an invisible result.
Dents do more than look bad. Where the metal is stretched, paint is stressed and can crack, and cracked paint lets moisture reach bare steel. In our climate that means rust sooner than you'd think. Dents also come straight off your car's value; an appraiser will flag every one. Fixing them while they're small is cheaper than fixing them after the paint fails.
Sooner is better. A fresh dent with intact paint is often a candidate for paintless repair, which costs less and keeps your original finish.
